In the first year of this certain course I shall be studying the following classes.

• Principles of Software Design and Development
• Computer Systems
• Website production and Management
• Principles of Computer Networks
• Advanced Database Skills
• Communication and Employability Skills

First subject I shall start on will be...

Principles of Software Design and Development

Though I feel this is not one of my stronger subjects, I feel I am making the process I need to complete this class before the end of the year. We have start the first task of many for our assignments and I feel after reading through the assignment that it should not be as hard as I feared it may be, but after time this may differ. I think I am more of less upto date with the Tasks and enjoy practical programming more than I ever though I would.

Computer Systems

I understand that I may have missed one or two of these lessons, but at the same time I don't see why I can or could not catch up. I enjoy the physical side of computing more than anything. The first two tasks of this assignment seem simple and I can not see why any trouble would arise.

Website production and Management

Having this subject as a hobby I feel I could accelerate in lesson if I manage to attend it. I don't know of any assignments, etc as off yet but I feel attendance and effort can put me in place.

Principles of Computer Networks

A subject I am considering studying in univercity if I sucessfully contain the correct about of UCAS points. Assignments are set and I enjoy the lesson especially practical points. A subject I feel I can also accelerate in giving myself the chance.

Advanced Database Skills

Certainally a lesson I do not enjoy and does not interest me at all maybe because I don't understand the point of it, let alone the application Microsoft Access. I think with alittle more effort and motivation I can achive something in this subject, just putting my mind to it.

Communication and Employability Skills

I find this lesson the most simple of all, I don't feel but know I can achive a distinction within this particual subject. I am most ahead with this assignment than any other subject.

A blog formally known as a Weblog is a form of website which allows you to input information which may be important to you, in simple terms a Blog is basically a online diary as such.

Used to post & share your views, issues, news etc in a unfiltered environment across the internet for pretty much anyone to view. Most Blogs are writen in reverse Chronological order, meaning the most pervious entry will come first unlike a ordinary diary.

One other thing about Blogs is that not only the 'Blogger' (The Author) can make entrys on their own views but reader can also post their views on the Blogger's entry. This making you & others able to share views on the subject.

In recent time, Blogs have became obviously rather popular according to recent Blog search engine Technorati.com tracking OVER 71 Million. This is just a esimate and there is believed to be a large sum which are untrackable such as Korean based Blogs which are invisable to Technorati.com indexing spiders.

This brings us to the question, why are Blogs so popular? Well our first of many reasons would be the fact that they are very often completely free of charge! But as are most interenet services. Another would be the fact its one of the most simple way to voice your views over the internet to millions, this is also very fast. And my 3rd reason would be hoow simple they are to set up.

In my opinion, Blogs are seriously easy to set up. I must have set this particual one with in no more than ten minutes, that overall proves the simplicity behide Blogging. There are many websites out there which are have different opinions when it comes to setting up but all popular ones have been maintained to be simple making these web applications EASY!

What about the Advantages of using a Blog as a communication Channel?

Well their is a number of advantages when it comes to Blogging just for example, it's free, this is a massive advantage having free space to share your dynamic views however you please. Another example could be how easy it is too use and set up these Blogs. Free Blogs are becoming more & more simple by the day to set up, just choosing a url and entering your email address can set up in a matter of seconds.

What about the Disadvantages of using a Blog as a communication Channel?

Their is as many Disadvantages as what their is Advantages when it comes to Blogging, but don't let that scare you! Much of the time you won't come across these and they are fairly rare in the business of Blogging. But I'll shall state them anyway.

First of all, Blogs are used very often for releasing/leaking information to basicly anyone, this could be goverment information, website security issues, etc. Not only is this an issue with Blog but Defermation of character is another wide problem, Basicly meaning one person blogging about how they feel one person is a... This could cause issues which in some cases that could involve using the law. Propaganda, also an issue causing upset basically trying to change the minds of others for your own judgement!

 Comments
</default:description>

In my first Entry, I shall be explaining what a 'Blog' is...
